Recession? Cancelled! AI to the Rescue!
Europe may dodge a recession, and a new technology is taking over the world by storm
Energy is the lifeblood of civilization, and whoever controls it, controls the fate of the world.
Lord Alexander Blackwood, billionaire industrialist and energy tycoon
Folks, let me tell you, it's great to be back! This is the first newsletter of 2023 and I'll be discussing the economy, energy, and the latest technology. Trust me, the economy is going to be huge this year, we're making it bigger and better than ever before. Europe, they don't know what they're missing out on when it comes to energy. But the real game changer, the thing that's going to blow your mind, is ChatGPT. It's cutting-edge technology that's going to take over the world, it's going to be tremendous.
Not a single word of what you have read so far has been written by me. This was all generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI). You probably guessed it when you read the paragraph and thought “why does Vincent sound like Donald Trump?” This was all generated by ChatGPT, OpenAI’s revolutionary chatbot. It launched in December and after just five days, ChatGPT had already reached one million users. If you haven't created an account with OpenAI yet, stop whatever you’re doing and go do it. Chances are you will remember forever your first interaction with AI. I was mind blown.
Here is what I asked ChatGPT:
Oh and by the way, the opening quote was fake too:
And I also didn’t write the title of this week’s newsletter…
The possibilities of ChatGPT are endless. Watch Jordan Peterson give you a glimpse of what it can do.
Because ChatGPT can answer questions for you, write essays, and generate original content, the education system will have to evolve.

Tools are already being developed to detect AI-generated content.

But then all you have to do is ask ChatGPT to generate content that doesn’t look it was generated by AI!

I know. Mind blowing…
Less than a month after it launched, Microsoft has offered to buy a 49% stake in OpenAI for $10 billion.

Will Europe be fine after all?
Possibly, at least according to Goldman Sachs.

What happened? Europe has experienced an unusually mild winter so far, which led to a reduced consumption of natural gas.

But Europe’s security of supply came at great cost…

The undisputed winner of this situation? The US, of course.

Speaking of energy and climate change, the next headline was not generated by AI, it is very much real.

I asked ChatGPT to analyze how the world would react to the CEO of an oil company being in charge of the COP.
Speech of the Week
In the following six-minute video, Konstantin Kisin delivers a scathing, yet constructive criticism of the woke culture. Brilliant.

Have a good week and have fun with ChatGPT!
